Fabulous Invitation Creates Anticipation for Annual Bal du Bois

Ever since receiving this drop-dead fabulous invitation for this year’s Bal du Bois, my anticipation level for tonight has been soaring.

Bal du Bois Invitation

The Junior Board of Sheltering Arms Physical Rehabilitation Hospital never fails to impress with its annual fundraiser, and if the invitation is any indication, this evening will be no exception.  With the guidance of bon vivant designers, Robert Watkins and deVeaux Riddick, the featured design and colorway will be incorporated into every aspect of this premier benefit, which is always one of the highlights on the Richmond social calendar.

The Bal serves as the primary debutante event in Richmond, and tonight’s soiree will be bigger and better than ever.  Forty-four college juniors constitute the 2012 sponsors who will be making their traditional debut as they and their families support Sheltering Arms.  I am so looking forward to seeing Ellegram‘s daughter decked out in white gown and gloves performing the “figure” with her daddy under the big circus-like tent at The Country Club of Virginia.  No matter the weather, this Bal will be, as it is every year, a stunning affair to remember.
