Simple and Sweet
So many times, simple is often best. After a weekend of boating with friends on the James, the Hub and I sat down to this plateful of fresh Hanover tomatoes. The tomato slices were sprinkled with salt and a few turns of fresh black pepper, then topped with slices of fresh mozzarella, splattered with good balsamic vinegar and finished with fresh basil from the backyard. This simple and sweet approach was the perfect ending to a near perfect weekend.
